About us

Jörg Müller and Karin Wieland are both fully qualified, practising Medical Herbalists based in Galway, a vibrant city on the West Coast of Ireland. Both have a living passion for growing and working with healing plants.

Jörg started to blend herbal teas 10 years ago to supply a community of 90 people. This was his first inspiration to turn herbal medicine into his profession.

For 1 year Jörg was harvesting wild herbs for gourmet restaurants. After this Jörg studied Herbal Medicine at the University of Central Lancashire for 4 years. Since then Jörg has been a practising and a lecturing Medical Herbalist in Galway. Developing new Herbal/Speciality Tea Blends has become more than a hobby. Jörg reached the semi-finals in the World Awards for Creative Young Entrepreneurs.

 

Karin grew up on an Organic farm in rural Sligo where growing herbs and using them on a daily basis was part of every day living. These early influences from her parents Hans and Gaby Wieland who have been instrumental in the Organic movement in Ireland, also led her on to studying and practising herbal medicine at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston.

Currently Karin practises as a Medical herbalist and Massage therapist in Galway with a particular interest in Womens complaints and Paediatrics. She is in the process of formulating an adjunct range of room spritzers, herbal essences and home spa applications.
