Oolong Tea is semi-fermented in a process that combines the best of both Green and Black Tea. Our Shui Xian Oolong tea is first flush, first grade tea. Shui Xian Oolong is an especially fragrant Tea with the slightly sweet aroma of the Narcissus flower. This stems purely from the cultivation and processing techniques. In China, Oolong is often taken as an anti-aging tea.

About Oolong Tea
Like all tea varieties, Oolong Tea is derived from the Camellia Sinensis plant. Its uniqueness has to do with the way it is processed. It undergoes a process that is known as partial oxidation, meaning it is allowed to oxidize more than traditional Green Tea but more than traditional Black tea. 

Many tea enthusiasts drink Oolong Tea because of its beneficial properties and energising effect. Oolong Tea is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, manganese, potassium, magnesium, and sodium. Oolong Tea has also been associated with anti-inflammatory and relaxing properties 

Although there are no official records that point out to the exact time of its creation, we know that Oolong Tea traces its origins to the Chinese Province of Fujian, whose climate and terrain are ideal for its production. It is also said that the Chinese Emperor Qian Lung was enchanted by the aroma of this amazing tea.
