Anahata, from Hindu, means the “secret chamber of the heart”.
This chakra is found in the center of the chest, in the heart field as its name suggests, its connection is direct with the Thymus gland.
Last week we built on the 'solid foundation' of the Muladhara or Root Chakra moving up to the Sadhistana or Sacral Chakra exploring this centre of our 'true identity' and the importance of 'clear boundaries' and also the 'practice of forgiveness'.
Today we take look at the 'Solar Plexus' or Manipura meaning 'lustrous GEM' in Sanskrit.
